A Letter from Pete Mahony

Since opening the doors to Mahony’s Tavern False Creek in 2014, the Mahony family and our partners have had the tremendous honour of becoming part of the vibrant Stamps Landing community. From early morning football games to sun-soaked afternoons on the patio, we’ve shared countless unforgettable moments with our guests, regulars, and neighbours.

Recently, we made the difficult but exciting decision to sell our False Creek location, allowing us to focus entirely on our Downtown Convention Centre location. With its recent renovations and a renewed commitment to delivering an exceptional experience, we’re eager to welcome you downtown for the same great hospitality you’ve come to love.

False Creek will continue to operate under the Mahony’s Tavern name for the next six months before the new owners launch their own concept, and we wish them the very best in this next chapter.

While we’ll miss our False Creek home, this isn’t goodbye—it’s simply a new beginning. We are so grateful for the friendships, memories, and support over the last decade, and we look forward to continuing the journey with you downtown.
